Thank you to the numerous clients who reached out for guidance and advice in light of the daunting task in front of you all. A few highlights we were able to share with our clients. First off, all contractors must be licensed with the CSLB. All clients were encouraged to visit www.cslb.ca.gov. To check contractor licenses and review rules contractors must follow. Second best practice was to interview and obtain bids from minimum of (3) contractors for each general contractor and trade related subcontractor. The more the better we encouraged. This allows clients to compare each one and make the best informed decision possible. Third most important item was checking each contractors reviews, previous work, and any other pertinent information (# of years in business, references, and/or vendor feedback) and for each client to take their time making decisions and requesting independent council and review.
